1.  Increase the awareness and utilization of the types of media production available to enhance academic offerings in traditional and distance learning courses.

The number of requests for locally produced classroom media materials will increase by 10% over fall 2003.


1.  Establish a baseline of current users of locally produced media in the classroom.

2.  Conduct meetings with Department chairs by January 31, 2004.

3.  Document dates and times of meetings.

4.  Assess effectiveness of information utilizing post-meeting interviews.

5.  Compare the number of new requests for locally produced classroom materials to the baseline.

2.  Develop sample demonstration program of available media materials for business and industry clients.

Multi-format sample programs will be developed for distribution to area businesses

by February 28, 2004.





1.  Work with the B & I office to determine the content of the sample program.

2.  Produce the program using existing and new footage.

3.  Duplicate and forward to B & I for distribution to area contacts.

Work with Distance Learning in the development of new locally produced programming for Channel 19

Pilot a minimum of two potential program series for possible Fall 2004 scheduling.


1.  Review cable schedule

2.  Develop a list of possible programs to best complement that schedule.

3.  Narrow the list to two potential program series for pilot episodes.

4.  Produce the pilot episodes for airing on Channel 19.
