Steve, Chad, and Don stand by one of 12  vole, rabbit, and deer-protected American chestnut seedlings.  To test
for the presence of  Phytophthora (a chestnut root rot fungus) and the effectiveness of Ridomil in killing it, Don
 watered half the trees with Ridomil while half the trees (the controls) got no Ridomil.
