Tutorial

The purpose of this tutorial is to help you learn to find and evaluate library resources.  It provides instruction on locating books, periodicals, and reviewed internet sites.  This skills builder will help you understand the basic concepts needed  to become information literate, and it will assist you in becoming a successful student.

To navigate through the tutorial, click on the section that you are ready to complete listed to the left.   Read through each section.  You do not need to complete all sections at the same time; however, your test will include all sections.  You can come back to the web site at any time.  Use the Chapter links on this page to go to the section where you left off.

At the bottom of each page, an arrow pointing right will take you to the next page, and an arrow pointing left will take you to the previous page.   You may exit to the Library Services Home Page at any time.

At the completion of the entire tutorial, you will be asked to finish and submit a comprehensive test for a grade.

Only the last test submitted will be used for your grade.

When you complete the test, you will receive a confirmation with your grade.  You MUST print a copy of this confirmation and give it to your instructor to receive credit.
