Stop 15: Ongoing Work

To date, about 1,500 warriors have been put back together.  The remaining figures are works in progress.  Many unfinished statues stand with baskets of pottery pieces at their feet.  Notice that some of the soldiers don't have heads.  Recreating these masterpieces is tedious, arduous work.  It would be like taking 6,000 puzzles - all the same type of puzzle - pitching them together in a pile, then trying to figure out which piece goes where.  It will take years to finish the army built 2,200 years ago as a monument to a great leader.
