Biographical Sketch
In manuscript form, type a brief sketch.  Examples of the types of information students wish to know have been gathered over several semesters and are listed below.  Write as much as you wish the students to know to feel comfortable "communicating" with you.

How do you see yourself?  How do you wish for your students to see you?  You may list the skills, abilities, knowledge, competencies, and personality characteristics that describe how you see yourself.
  • Is your cultural background the most important thing about you?
  • Is the most important thing about you the environment in which you grew up?
  • Was there some particular person--a friend, relative, or childhood here--who had a major impact on your life?
  • Have you been marked by some unusual experience?
  • Are you best characterized by an activity that brings meaning to your life?
  • Is the work you do a major factor in making you who you are?
  • Are you characterized by your goals or purpose in life?
