The Student Government Association promotes your welfare as a student at Volunteer State Community College and provides the official channels through which student opinions may be expressed. The SGA helps to promote students’ rights and responsibilities and to promote cooperation between students, faculty, and the administration. The SGA represents the students’ position on the campus and community and to support all student body activities and school spirit. Finally, the Student Government Association supports all clubs and organizations within the college serving as a resource of information.

The Student Government Association is set up to represent the students here at Vol State. If you have a problem on campus, bring it to the SGA and as a collective body we try to solve your problems in a timely manner.
