This scholarship is awarded to a declared degree-seeking student in one of our A.S./A.A. degree programs (Chemistry, Biology, Engineering, Pre-dental Hygiene, Pre-Professional Medical, Pre-Nursing, Natural Resource Management, Mathematics, Mathematics and Science, and Physics).  Students in good scholastic standing who plan to continue on for a baccalaureate degree in one of these fields may apply for a scholarship. The applicant must have the following:

         Three letters of recommendation
         Hand-written student narrative

This scholarship is funded as an endowment in memory of Joseph C. Watlington by the faculty/staff of the Mathematics and Science Division and the friends and family of Joseph C. Watlington.
