Science Expo at Volunteer State Community College, April 2006

A science expo is held on the VSCC campus each year in early April.  Visiting students from mostly grade schools and middle schools are treated to numerous science exhibits and activities designed to spark an interest in science among young students.

Professor Schibig partakes of the candy at the American chestnut exhibit,
but there was plenty left for the youngsters visiting the campus.

Most of the exhibits were biology-related.

Biology instructor, Rex Barber, and his students prepare microscopes
for the visitors.
